I live in the United States, at least for the time being. Like Brexit, the wall with Mexico isn’t going to happen, and even if it did, it would accomplish none of the goals its supporters think it will. The world is integrating, and those trying to return to the good old days of national sovereignty are unlikely to ever get their wish. Global warming and other global issues will require global cooperation to solve. That said, after a year with Trump in office I too am hoping we soon wake up and get back to the real world.
