Science is the search for answers first and foremost. The answers it provides are always probabilistic. The possibility that more information may come to light may be resisted by humans (including scientists), but science itself is by definition always open to knew information. While we all have our biases — we are human after all — I don’t think I’ve ever heard a serious scientist or philosopher claim the universe is limited only to what we can detect with our senses. That’s why we build electron microscopes and radio telescopes. Science has proven there’s much we can’t sense.
