Thanks for reading and for the feedback. I don’t believe science is an example of an ideology, or ecopsychology for that matter (a topic I have favorably touched upon elsewhere). I would describe science as a systemic approach to thinking as opposed to a “system of thought”. The latter is the definition of ideology I relied on in my argument. This issue was something I toyed with addressing in the original piece, but ultimately decided going into the distinction between science and ideology risked distracting readers from the main point I was striving to make. That said, your point is well taken.
